(ANSA) - KARPACZ, 09 SET - "We have a trade which is worth around 22 billion euros, our exports have increased even during the pandemic, we have more than 2,500 companies operating in Poland, and we employ 100,000 people, Poles, in the country: therefore the prime minister himself recognizes Italy as a condition of pre-eminence on the Polish market ". Italian ambassador to Poland, Aldo Amati, said on the sidelines of the discussion panel "The priorities of the B20 in the field of international trade and investment", organized at the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland.

"The economic relationship between Italy and Poland does not have any problem - he explained - perhaps with the slightest exception for the Italian infrastructure companies that have also suffered significant losses on Polish territory in recent years. Politically, the dialogue between the two countries could be enhanced: at this moment, Poland has some problems in Europe, on the rule of law, on the LGBT issue, but this must not prevent a dialogue that takes into account our interests and their interests, because we also have important Polish companies that operate in Italy and they are starting to invest in our country.

So the interaction between Italy and Poland is getting stronger and stronger." (ANSA).
