Migrants: Hungary, 46 arrested on the border, pressure up

"Migration is not a human right, EU is beginning to realize it"

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 9 - "Last night's migrant attacks, 46 illegal migrants have been apprehended near Hungary''s southern border. The migration pressure is intensifying- in the same period last year 20,300 illegals have been turned back, this year that same figure stands at nearly 66,000," the Hungarian Secretary of State for International Communication and Relations Zoltan Kovacs said on Twitter today.

A "further growth is predicted" due to the Afghanistan crisis and "Europe is slowly beginning to realize what we have been saying since 2015: migration is not a human right, and technical border barriers are needed to stop illegal immigration," Kovacs added. (ANSA).
