Afghanistan:Guardian,Croatia pushing back migrants to Bosnia

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 31 - The Croatian police are allegedly robbing and pushing back to Bosnia and Herzegovina dozens of Afghans who had previously left Afghanistan for fear of the Taliban, The Guardian wrote today, quoting information from "an exclusive report from the Danish Refugee Council (DRC)." According to The Guardian, testimonies of Afghans asylum seekers documented "about 60 illegal pushbacks allegedly perpetrated between 16 August and 29 August by the Croatian police against Afghan families in Bosnia attempting to reach Europe." According to the victims, The Guardian wrote, "the pushbacks," about half of them perpetrated against minors, "included brutal and violent behaviour, degrading treatment and theft and destruction of personal belongings."
